Customize user permissions

Managers can now grant users access to screens and reports in the XtreamService application. With this enhancement, you can use new option buttons on the Edit User panel to grant a user access to screens and reports independent of his assigned role. Previously, permissions were determined solely by the user's assigned role.

To grant an employee access to a screen or report that is not automatically granted with his assigned role, simply select the option button corresponding to the required level of access.

For example, suppose a salesperson requires access to the Sales Summary Report. You can allow him to view the report by selecting the Yes option button corresponding to the report.

• Permissions are automatically selected based on the user's assigned role. In addition, when a user's assigned role is updated, default permissions are automatically selected, but can be changed.
